Recently, Mary officially opened two new art exhibitions, ‘Potters Sisters’ and ‘Little by Little’, by three artists of the Strathnairn Arts Association.

“It’s always wonderful to see local artists display such high quality works,” Mary said, “I’m a big supporter of the
arts in all its forms.”

‘Potters Sisters’ is being exhibited by Annette Leahy, who is originally from Papua New Guinea, and her sister-inlaw
Maryann Mussared. Jo Hollier will be exhibiting ‘Little by Little’. The three artists meet regularly at Strathnairn and
share a common interest and focus on nature in its organic forms.

Strathnairn Arts Association Inc is a not-for-profit arts association supported by the ACT Government that provides working spaces and facilities for a range of artists and crafts people and community groups. Both those just starting out and those who have been artists for some time.

“Congratulations to Jo, Annette and Maryann for their works. I commend Strathnairn for its continued commitment to developing and supporting their members, and the way it welcomes the wider community.”
