Earlier last month Mary visited the Melba Copland College, where she met with student members of the Melba Copland Secondary School’s- F1-In-Schools team.

“I was happy to respond to an invitation by a student- Mr Josh Goyne, who approached me at the Melba Copland College graduation event,” Mary said.

“The team gave a thorough presentation of their 2013 entry of the F1-in-Schools National finals that was to be held in Avalon, Victoria,” Mary stated. “They also showed off the State Championship and Innovation awards they had won in 2012 at the NSW division of the F1-In-Schools National Championships.”

Congratulations to the students Josh Goyne, Connor Flannery, Fin Ubels and Jaxon Biden for their hard work and imagination, and for being runners-up in the Development Class at this year’s national championships.

Congratulations also to the Principal Mr. Michael Battenally and the teachers in charge of the F1 trip- Mr Minos Nikolaidis and Mr. David Appel, for guiding these young men. Finally congratulations to all the sponsors who have helped make this possible.
