Mary recently joined members of the Belconnen Bowling Club to celebrate the club’s 40th birthday.
Mary has been the patron of the Belconnen Bowling Club for some time.
“It is my great honour to be the patron of the Belconnen Bowling Club.
“The club is one that has a true sense of community, with an active program of charity bowl days. Many members of the club also volunteer in many other ways, contributing hundreds of hours of their time.
“I am very proud of the position that the club is in today, and I think every member of the club should be too.
“I am sure the club will continue to play a major role in the community in the future, in addition to its role as an outstanding social venue. I wish all the members of the Belconnen Bowling Club the best of luck for the future,” Mary concluded.
