While other candidates were busy removing their election corflutes from roadsides, Mary was busy putting hers back up again.
“After the election I always think it’s important that you thank those who have supported you, so for a couple of days I put my signs back out with a ‘thank you’ note attached,” Mary said.
“As is usual during the campaign, I don’t leave the signs in the same locations; they are put out in the morning and then brought back in the evening and repositioned the next day.
“This is to make sure as many people as possible are thanked.
